Physical Magic

Physical Magic is in the unique combination of inconceivable illusions, sensational aerial performances, driving dance sequences, synergistic displays of balance and strength, exhilarating escapes, dazzling lighting effects and eccentric, dynamic and luminous characters wrapped into a fantastic story of transformation.

The story is a celebration of the physical body, demonstrating the magic of its capabilities. Physical Magic is a visual kaleidoscope of unbelievable elements, some physical, some magical and some both. The show blurs the line between physical reality and magical fantasy, taking the audience on a visual journey of the imagination. At the end of the journey, the audience realizes that life contains a little bit of both elements, and the physical body itself contains something magical.

Physical magic contains no spoken words, and the story is an individual interpretation by the audience member of the unique visual images, heart pounding live percussion, and seductive live guitar of the show. This creates a unique personal experience and lasting memory for each audience member.

Aerial Chiffon
Marvel at the spectacular images of this high-flying display of strength and grace. Encompassing the entire stage, and much of the air above the first several rows of the audience. This is an awe inspiring aerial ballet of physical power.

Shape Manipulation
Fantastic optical illusions are created as various oversized geometric shapes are manipulated in different lighting effects, in this face-paced distinctive act.

Yogin Contortion
Flexibility and grace are displayed in this unique combination of disciplines. Yogini combines contortion with the ancient art of Yoga, performing on ballet pointe shoes in this truly innovative act.

Vertical Rope
An aerial dance performed on a single rope. Positions of flexibility, grace and daring are demonstrated as the rope performer moves through a series of seemingly impossible positions.

Aerial Silks
Grace and strength are displayed in this flowing presentation. Silhouettes and images are created with and within suspended fabric, as flexibility and power combine to create this visually stunning performance.

Lightning Chamber
Thunder and lightning ignite a mood of mystery and magic! Witness the appearance of a character from thin air, with this magical chamber of effects.

Time Warp
The dematerialization of a human body enables it to funnel through a mammoth hourglass, and reappear on the other side.

Floating Ball
The floating ball is one of magic’s most beautiful illusions. A glowing white orb is levitated over the stage and around other performers. The magician performs the impossible by spinning a solid hoop around the ball in mid-flight.

Vortex
A visual display of metal and motion! See the human body pass through a solid sheet of steel in this magical transformation.

Table of Death
Hands and feet shackled and body stretched beyond limits across a bed of nails. A desperate escape must be made before five hundred pounds of steel spikes release and crash to the table.

Straight Jacket
Suspended by his ankles high above the audience, the magician struggles to free himself from a straight jacket. As he climbs to safety, one of the support ropes snaps, sending him careening out over the audience. He races to reach the ground before the other rope fails.

Double Fan
The magician is placed inside of a 15 foot tall 8 foot wide industrial fan, between two set of fan blades. The blades begin to spin as the assistants rotate the entire fan structure. The whirling blades slowly compress, ultimately colliding with each other in a shower of sparks. The magician has disappeared, only to reappear out in the audience.

Da Vinci’s Ring
A sensual illusion of impossibilities! Elevated 16 feet in the air, see one human body pierce through another and rotate to show all angles of this amazing, mind bending spectacle.
