Donald Baptiste was born on the small island of Trinidad, (Home of the Steel drum) and is skilled in many areas of this unusual but fascinating instrument. He has been playing for over twenty-five years and has toured extensively with a large professional steel drum orchestra, which has performed in 48 states in a two year period and was the opening act for star performers, such as the late great Liberace, Sergio Franchi and many others.
