It shall have a predominately comic theme and center around current topical humor. An audience member or two solving the mystery correctly will receive a complimentary gift. Show synopsis:

If Not Youdunnit, Whodunit?

Rhett, the butler, enters and explains the proceedings for the mystery. He is joined by Yvette, the upstairs maid, who serves as co-facilitator. A member of the audience is chosen as referee and draws 4 cards from 20 clue cards and seals them in an envelope. One card is for the victim, one for the weapon, one for the motive, and one for the murderer. The mystery is then played out in front of the audience (the detectives) with the murder-taking place at the end of act 1. A ten-minute intermission is given or the serving of dinner takes place while alibis are handed out to the suspects. Act 2 continues with the hearing of the suspect’s alibis, then Q & A of all the suspects by the detectives and finally the voting where the detectives fill out solution forms. The referee collects them, sorts them, and all correct forms are placed in a container and the winning detective is drawn. The detective comes forward and solves the crime, opens the envelope and receives the prize.
