We have one Mission at Targeted Golf...To facilitate learning. Our primary mandate is to make golf easy to learn and enjoy. Once you discover you true ability, you will realize that it is relatively easy to become an accomplished player.

It will become abundantly clear that the best and only way to learn golf is through a task oriented method. We believe that golf is a hand-eye coordinated activity. You use a tool, or a club, to hit a ball. It is that simple. If you know what part of the ball to strike, how the tool is designed, and how to make the most of that design, then you have all the basics that you need. By definition, a hand-eye coordination task requires the development of a “fine” motor skill, and this is really good news! Fine motor skills are the birthright of every individual, and they can be used to increase skill development throughout one’s life.

The predominant model of golf instruction is based on the premise that there is “A Perfect Swing.” The assumption follows that if we make a perfect swing, we will hit perfect shots. Therefore, if we hit an imperfect shot, we must have made and imperfect swing. Right?

In the model, the only logical choice after a missed shot is to analyze your swing, try to find the problem, and then FIX IT! the only problem is that THIS DOESN’T WORK. It never has and never will. As many golfers have discovered, this approach leads to a tremendous amount of frustration and confusion. And yet, this “Swing” philosophy thrives despite mountains of evidence to refuse it.

Champions such as Miller Barber, Jim Furyk, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player prove that a swing does not need to be perfect or pretty to be exquisite in execution. Despite all the praise that Jack Nicklaus has received, you rarely hear that he has a great swing. Still “The Perfect Swing” theory condemns the aspiring golfer to follow a path to frustration and despair, chasing a “Perfect Swing” that doesn’t exist.

In contrast, The Targeted Golf Method is built on the fact that golf is a stick and ball game. We believe that you already have the ability to play and play well to a high degree. It is a natural activity that is is easily accomplished when you use the fine motor skills to perform the task and not the gross motor skills of all the major muscles. The fine motor skills reside in your fingers, hands and forearms. It took five billion years for the brain to develop this amazing ability and it must be honored. Watching and accomplished typist or pianist should confirm that skill development of the fine motor system is far unreliable, it is truly magnificent.

Video Capture Session
Targeted Golf will digitally capture each participants golf swing and then produce a multimedia lesson. This lesson will be complete with their swing played in frame by frame motion, comparative modeling with top level touring golf professionals, illustrations showing their path to success and live narrative by their instructor. Targeted Golf produces a full motion introduction, featuring your company logo and identity at the beginning of each video. Since these videos are intensely personal they are viewed over and over, and thus are an ideal way to link your organization with the positive experience that you have provided.

Fore! Business
Targeted Golf recognizes that the golf course is perhaps the best place to increase sales and develop new and additional business. Our comprehensive four hour program will show your employees how to properly prepare for and conduct the five hour sales opportunity that a round of golf represents. Every aspect of the business golf experience from the initial invitations through the nineteenth hole is covered in detail. This will insure that your employees will win the respect and loyalty so crucial to long term business success.

Quarter Day Event
This event is a two hour package that is limited to a maximum of eight people and includes a seminar, nine hole simulator matches, putter fitting and contests and a swing capture session with a sequence print out for each participant.

Half Day Event
This is a four hour package with a maximum of sixteen people and comprises the same events as the Quarter Day Event.

All Day Event
This program reserves the center for the participating corporation and allows for maximum flexibility in scheduling and content. Every aspect of the Targeted Golf experiences will be at your disposal.

Corporate Membership
For the membership fee, the company garners 100 credit hours by appointment to be allotted to either employees or company guests and may be used for education or entertainment. Corporate recognition in all services provides and excellent and unforgettable marketing opportunity.

Customized Awards
Targeted Golf offers customized equipment, individually crafted to the persons needs. These include custom fitted putters, irons, woods and various logoed items.
